Marshalling Marathons

We have a long history of volunteering to marshal sectors of the Cape Town Cycle Tour and the Cape Town Marathon – both being world class events which draw many foreign competitors.  Experienced members have been asked to act as Sector leaders.  We get up very early,  monitor road closures,  guide the athletes, and prevent motorists and spectators impeding their progress.
